DMCA Policy

Free Template Download respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users and contributors to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we will respond to valid notices of alleged infringement that comply with the DMCA and any other applicable law.

1. Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe that content available on the Site infringes a copyright you own or control, please send a written notice containing the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the specific URL(s) on the Site where it appears.
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. What Happens Next

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and make a good-faith attempt to notify the party that posted it. Repeat infringers will have their submissions removed and may be blocked from further participation.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe material you posted was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification including:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and its former location (URL) on the Site.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.

If a valid counter-notification is received, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files court action.

4. Misrepresentations

Any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney's fees.
